identifying an audience for Auckland Castle

Auckland Castle Trust needed help to secure Heritage Lottery Funding and turned to Melanie for an audience development plan. Working with Susan Briggs, Melanie identified a usp for the estate, a set of local, national and international audiences that could be attracted to it as well as a plan of how to reach them. Together Melanie and Susan also forecast visitor numbers to 2020 to support the Trust's financial planning. The result was an audience development plan that provided content for the HLF application and the Trust were successful in securing £10million of investment.
