Developing Lancaster for visitors

Melanie has a wonderful knack of listening to various points of view and detecting where the consensus lies. Her skill as a clear and concise communicator meant that, as a committee of very different people and backgrounds, representing different agencies, we were all kept in the loop throughout the entire process.

We helped a group of stakeholders in Lancaster to develop a plan to grow the visitor economy of the city. We worked with businesses, community representatives, the University, the Chamber of Commerce and the local authority to see the the city through visitors eyes and identify actions to improve the city's visibility and offer. The plan has become part of the City’s masterplan and is being delivered by a wide range of organisations with a stake in the city’s future.
