Business mentoring in Ireland

When Gallarus Oratory, a small heritage site on Ireland's Dingle Peninsular, decided to take part in a national development programme run by Failte Ireland Melanie was assigned as their business mentor. She also acted as mentor to a community organisation on Inishbofin Island, a consortium of gardens in County Carlow, a wellness centre in Galway and a new visitor attraction in County Kerry. 

 

Over a period of 12 months Melanie helped these businesses to shape new experiences, review pricing and branding, create training and customer service materials, script new audio guides and source specialist suppliers as well as supporting with grant applications and choosing a cnew channels for online distribution and sales.
